WEEK 5

SEC FOOTBALL

Headliner:
Auburn at Florida
Florida jumps on Auburn early and never takes their foot off the gas. Florida 45 Auburn 24

Your next best options:
Alabama vs Florida State
Major Applewhite continues to make John Parker Wilson look much better than he really is. What a gem Saban found in this guy.
Alabama 34 Florida State 24

Ole Miss at Georgia
Matthew Stafford gets more help from running game than Seth Adams. Balance = Win
Georgia 30 Ole Miss 17

Mississippi State at South Carolina
Poor Quarterback play and stout defenses make this one sloppy. Predicting at least 3 turnovers each. Ol Ball Coach puts Blake Mitchell back in at QB in 4th quarter for game winning drive.
South Carolina 20 MS State 17

"You're playing who?"
LSU 52 Tulane 6
Kentucky 45 Florida Atlantic 28
Arkansas 38 North Texas 17
Vanderbilt 31 Eastern Michigan 13

LSU's playing Tulame & surprisingly their only up 7-0 at the end of the 1st.

Ole Miss stepped up last weekend - it will be tough for them to do it again, GA to tee off. SC is a good team, QB or no QB, they keep the games close. MS State has a running game and defense but no QB - SC will stack the line of scrimmage and make Croom throw the ball, which equals INT.

Auburn v. Florida - could be a good one. Tebow is due for a bad game in his first year as a starter, but they still may edge it out in a close one.

Oh, and let me give you my opinion of the USM game - we have no defense, and Bower has book with five play's in it. Simply pathetic.

The only thing I will give themn is that Boise's damn blue field is tough to play on - that may be why their like 48-2 at home in thier last five years. Which I call bullsh*t.

I have an idea - lets make the field gold at Southern or orange at TN.

Went 6-2 on my winners for the weekend, not bad. I got a lot of help from my bottom 4 that were playing weak teams. After seeing South Florida beat West Virgina Friday night I felt a little better about Auburn's chances against Florida but couldn't see them actually going to the swamp and leaving with a win. This will take a lot of excitement away from the Florida vs LSU game now that Florida has a loss. This may be the one time I can pull for LSU. Need Florida with as many SEC losses as possible so my Vols have a shot at winning the SEC EAST. It's still a LONG shot, I know.
