David Stremme 2006 Preview

David Stremme moves up to the cup series to drive the #40 Coors Light/Lonestar Dodge for Ganassi Racing in 2006. David competed in the Busch series for the last two seasons. Stremme was held winless in that series even though he showed some promise at various points in 2005.

The question for the #40 team will be can they come together and will the equipment be used effectively. Stremme is one of a large rookie class that hope to make a run at the top ten. I foresee this year as a learning curve for David and his team, where they may struggle throughout the year as a mid-pack car. The team should be building for strong contention in the future.
