Jeff Burton 2006 Preview

Jeff Burton starts his second full season with Richard Childress Racing and the #31 Cingular Chevy. The 2005 season did not go as planned for Burton and his team as they continually found themselves mid pack during most races. They will hope to improve on this in 2006.

Jeff Burton is a veteran and a good spokesman for the sport but has he lost his ability to put the car in victory lane. Burton has not been to victory lane since 2001 at Phoenix and has not been able to produce since coming over to Childress. The 2006 season could be better for Burton but him making the chase could be tough this season.
