Kahne Wins From The Pole In Texas

A few drivers looked as if they were going to dominate the field during Sundays race at Texas Motorspeedway but when the checkered fell it ended as it started with Kasey Kahne in 1st place. Greg Biffle was dominant in the opening portion of the race, until Kurt Busch ended his day, turning the #16 into the wall (Busch is making so many friends this year). Later it looked as if Carl Edwards could dominate but that was ended when Edwards got lose under Jeff Gordon sending himself into the inside wall and out of the race. With the laps counting down it became a battle between Kahne and Stewart. Stewart tried to hold Kahne off but the #9 car was just too strong when running the high grove. The series is off this weekend, but will return the following weekend in Phoenix.

I am very proud for Kasey! We were there last fall when Kasey wrecked out of the Busch and Cup Race, I was in the garage at both races when they brought his car in, and they were all so disappointed, that I am thrilled he got a win there this year, even though I am partial to the 48 crew, I can be happy for Kasey over this win!
