Opinion: What Are They Thinking!!??
Below is an article from NASCAR.com discussing NBC's show Dataline News, which (pathetically) tried to trick NASCAR fans at Martinsville into making racial comments about Muslims. It was an attempt to show that anit-muslim feelings are rising in America.
Now, the job of such News programs is to report the news, not make it up. It could be true that these are feelings of certain Americans but that does not give them the right to bait people so they can have a story. Shows a lack of character in the media of today. Opinion & make believe stories rule over fact (shaking the head). Let me know what you think??

I think its a disgrace.
It shows how they will bite off one leg to get higher ratings. I mean they air NASCAR racing & then try to exploit us for higher ratings.
I totally agree with bigmike, it goes to show what the will do for higher ratings. I don't think NBC wants 75 millions NASCAR Fans to start a boycot!
Makes you not want to support NBC. The truth is that I never watch them anyway so...
Yea, I agree with you guys, its a damn shame that some people that you look to for current events has to go & make the crap up. I guess I will stick with fox.
If NASCAR was smart.......... they'd just pull NBC's contract. It's not like they can't pick up another network like abc or cbs.
its not like they need the money....... for example:
Talladega ticket sales: 200,000
Avg price: 75 = 15 million
If visitors spend an avg of 500 bucks at the race tracks, food, gifts, etc: 200,000 x 500 = 100,000,000!!!!!! And thats just one race!!!!!
