Kenseth Wins in California

The race was dominated by Greg Biffle but in the end it was his teammate Matt Kenseth who took the checkered flag in the Auto Club 500 at California Speedway. Kurt Busch started on the pole but it did not take long for Biffle to take the lead and he kept it for a majority of the race. It quickly turned into a race dominated by Roush Racing with all five of the teams drivers moving to the front and everyone else chasing them. Tony Stewart looked to be the only driver that could content with the powerful car of Biffle's. Unfortunately, both Biffle and Stewart would lose the battle when their engines blew late in the race surrendering the lead to Kenseth who held off late charges from Jimmie Johnson and Carl Edwards for the win.
