Robby Gordon 2006 Preview.

Robby Gordon had a difficult 2005 season due to the fact that his team had constant engine woes that made it difficult to be competitive each race and it also meant that his team had to qualify for each race. The good news is that Robby changed from Menard engines to DEI engines which could give him an opportunity to run better in 2006.

Compared to the 2005 finish, this year should be an improvement for the 07 team. It want come easy in the beginning because Gordon will have to qualify his way into the first few races because of his finishing spot the previous year (not in the top 35 in points) and with DEI engines this can be done. Robby Gordon should run better and be competitive in a few races including restrictor plate and road coarse races. His first goal, make it into the show, then worry about moving up in the points.
