Happy Harvick Wins Again; Takes Over Points Lead

Kevin Harvick started on the pole and never looked back, leading 196 laps on Sunday. With the win Harvick takes over the point lead, the first time he has lead the points in his career. A few other drivers were not as lucky as Harvick. Both Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch hit the wall early in the race, putting them in the hole early in the chase for the cup. Besides Harvick Jeff Gordon, Denny Hamlin, Jeff Burton and Matt Kenseth all finished in the top ten.

I am very happy that Stewart isn't in it this year. I also hope that Kevin Harvick isn't able to weasel his way into a Championship at the last second. Hopefully Mark Martin and Matt Kenseth will be able to put together strong runs here in the last 9 races.

Tony's team looked flat in the last five races. Now Harvick is on a role & could make a run at the cup.
